Q：Since when are you a fighter in the war?
A：Since 2009, as a sniper in Kandahar. But I was a volunteer to go to war from day one as a soldier. It took me 6 years to be deployed. But the wait was worth it because my first deployment was as a sniper.
Q：When did you join the Canadian Forces?
A：I've been in the “military world” since I was a teenager and joined the ranks of the Air Cadets, which also allowed me to be a pilot. In the Canadian Forces, I was first a gunner. I followed a lot of technical training in the field of artillery. It has also helped me in several of my deployments, including my first in Ukraine. Moreover, I do not fight for any group or army. I only fight for those I perceive to be on the “good side”.
