We are currently on Ukrainian soil. Crossing the borders of a country at war caused us some small unforeseen events. But we were prepared for it because we are the first to “trace the path” of the volunteers.

I am currently with three Quebecers and a larger number of Britons. The British are so tough that once they cross the border they immediately put on all their war gear. I felt like I was preparing for the Normandy landings with “mates”. During this time, Quebecers were dressed as sly civilians.
